SPEAKER OF THE CONGRESS OF THE FEDERATED STATES OF MICRONESIA PAID AN OFFCIAL VISIT TO VAN MIEU – QUOC TU GIAM


Speaker of the Congress of the Federated States of Micronesia - Mr. Wesley W. Simina and his wife visited the Special National Landmark – Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam.

During his visit, Mr. Simina and his wife listened to the history of the foundation and development of Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam, as well as, details about buildings on the site.

Mr. Simina and his wife paid great attention to 82 stone stelae created under Le – Mac dynasty and registered as a World Documentary Heritage by UNESCO. The tour helped Mr. Wesley W. Simina and members in the group better understand the history of education and exams of Vietnam.

Mr. Wesley W. Simia expressed a great admiration and respect toward Vietnamese fondness for learning and the practices of honouring talents, as well as, 82 stone stelae in the guest book.
