The 17^th Vietnam Poetry Day with theme “Mountains and Rivers on Shoulders” took place at The Temple of Literature on the afternoon of April, 24, 2018. This was the second year the Vietnam Writers’ Association organized two poetry performances: Traditional and Modern poetry.

The Vietnam Poetry Festival is a big festival that occurs throughout the country. The festival honours  poetry, honours the country and honours Vietnamese and Culture of Vietnam. The festival is an opportunity for Vietnamese poets and poetry lovers to meet and enjoy famous literary works.

This year Vietnam Writers’ Association organized Vietnam Poetry Day and other big events as well:  The 4^th International Conference on Promoting Vietnamese Literature and the 3^rd International Poetry Festival. There were hundreds of poets, writers and translators from 46 countries.
