On the evening of October 29, 2018 the Gala Dinner of the 5^th Ha Noi International Film festival was held at Van Mieu. There were more than 1000 actors, actresses, artists, film directors, and film makers in attendance. They raised their glasses in the friendly and warm atmosphere and enjoyed Vietnamese traditional cultural performances.

Mr. Ngo Van Quy – vice chairman of the Ha Noi People’s Committee said in his welcome speech: “Ha Noi International Film Festival is a good chance for nations to communicate, exchange experiences about film making technologies, celebrate excellent human cultural films with high art value and new discoveries, and encourage new talents in the film industry. Ha Noi International Film Festival is also a great chance for Viet Nam to introduce its films to the world…”
