Within the framework of visiting and working with Vietnam, the Chairman of International Automobile Federation paid an official visit to Van Mieu- Quoc Tu Giam on March, 20^th, 2019.

Mr. To Van Dong – Director of Department of Culture and Sports in Hanoi – Member of town committee of the Party and the leader and staffs of the Scientific and Cultural Activity Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam were also present.

Mr. Jean Todt was honored to visit this significant historical site – the symbol of long – standing education of Vietnamese. He said: “That’s so amazing, the special historical site surrounded by green trees in the middle of the city. I love quiet spaces with old architectural constructions so much”.

Concluding his visit, Mr. Jean Todt thanked the Director of Department of Culture and Sports in Hanoi and the leader and staffs of Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam for the warm welcome and information about history of education and exams in Vietnam. He hoped that he and his spouse would come back to this site soon.
