Spring Calligraphy Festival has been held at Van Mieu-Quoc Tu Giam since 2014, this event has become an indispensable cultural tradition for the people of Hanoi capital during the Lunar New Year. In order to prepare well for all activities of this festival, the Center for Scientific and Cultural Activities Van Mieu-Quoc Tu Giam has cooperated with other agencies so that the festival's activities will take place successfully
Under the direction of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports, on January 4, 2019, the Center for Scientific and Cultural Activities Van Mieu-Quoc Tu Giam collaborated with calligraphy clubs in Hanoi and the Limited Company Longlink Vietnam to organize a meeting for organizers and examiners of Spring Calligraphy Festival 2019.
At the meeting, participants presented and discussed plans and put forward new proposals to ensure fairness and effectiveness in the calligraphy contest to select calligraphers for the Spring Calligraphy Festival 2019.
With the careful preparation and efforts of the Center for Scientific and Cultural Activities Van Mieu-Quoc Tu Giam and other agencies, we hope that the Spring Calligraphy Festival 2019 will help to promote the traditional values and become an indispensable destination for the capital's people and tourists during the Lunar New Year.
