On May 11,2019, the spouse of President of Federal Republic Myanmar – Mrs. Cho Cho, visited the Special National Landmark Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam which once was the highest and the biggest examination center of Vietnam.`

Mrs Cho Cho listened to the history of the establishment and development of Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam, as well as, the precious traditions of the nation. She contemplated unique constructions such as Khue Van Cac – the symbol of Hanoi with thousand years of culture. Khue Van Cac was built in 1805, and represents literature, as well as, culture in Vietnam.

At Thai Hoc courtyard, the spouse of President of Federal Republic Myanmar listened to a representation of Chu Van An’s life and career. Chu Van An (1292 – 1370) was the unrighteous educator of a nation. In order to express her gratitude to Chu Van An, Mrs. Cho Cho burned incense, a common tradition in Vietnam when paying one’s respect.

At the end of her visit, the spouse of President of Federal Republic Myanmar said it was an honor to visit the precious historical site of Hanoi and Vietnam,which once was the highest examination center in the nation that trained thousands of great men. Mrs. Cho Cho hoped that Vietnam would continue to share its beautiful and precious culture, traditions and talents.
