On the occasion of the 65th Anniversary of the Capital’s Liberation Day (10/10/1954 - 10/10/2019) and the 20th anniversary to mark Hanoi’s recognition as City for Peace by UNESCO, Kinh tế and Đô thị News in collaboration with photography clubs for the elderly in Hanoi and The Center for Scientific and Cultural Activities,Van Mieu-Quoc Tu Giam organized the photography exhibition “Hanoi in my heart: friendliness and creativity” at Bái Đường Courtyard, in The Special National Landmark, Van Mieu-Quoc Tu Giam.
Visitors of the exhibition
The exhibition would be on the two themes: “Hanoi - a safe and friendly attraction” and “Hanoi - the city of creativity”. On display were 65 photos showing actual scenes of the daily life since Hanoi was recognized as a safe and peaceful city. The exhibition might be considered as a big picture that marks the events of international cooperation of the Party, State and Vietnamese Government in Hanoi, and other events proving that Hanoi is a friendly, safe and peaceful city. Furthermore, viewers also had a chance to see the photos that show future construction projects and creative ideas.
Journalists at the exhibition
The exhibition was a good opportunity for the members of photography clubs for the elderly in Hanoi and journalists, and freelance of Kinh tế and Đô thị News to meet and share their best shots of Hanoi. Many of the shots had won awards at famous photography contests.
The exhibition opens at Bái Đường Courtyard until October 13, 2019.
