On September 24, 2018, the Vice Chairman of Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Indonesia – Mr. Saut Situmorang and his delegates visited the special national relic Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam.

During his visit, Mr. Saut Situmorang and delegates were interested in antique constructions. He shared: “I am so honored to go see a significantly unique vestige and I enjoy the wonderful buildings such as: The Great portico, The Great Middle gate, Khue Constellation, The Great Success, as well as the history of education, the tradition of fondness of learning and talents of Vietnam, 82 stone stele which are registered as a world documentary heritage by UNESCO”.

Before finishing his visit, Mr. Saut Situmorang and delegates thanked the employees of Van Mieu who have been preserving the precious landmark for future generations . He hopes that Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam will attract more visitors because the landmark preserves the value of culture, education and the tradition of recognizing talents as a principle of the Kings.
